On the right, you'll see a sequence of pictures with the Original on top of the Repair.
For the first one, I've hidden the identity of the person since no-one wants to know that their teeth are a little off-color..or that they have some sort of blemish on their skin. Take away life's little imperfections, and people will be REAL happy with the result. They'll think you are a great photographer to capture such a great likeness.
The second pair shows what happens when you take a shot far from your home. You won't be back for years...if ever. But the shot came out too dark. All is not lost. The information is still there and we can bring it out.
In the third pair, a shot of your beautiful wife while on vacation would be perfect....if only you remembered to turn on the flash and fill in the shadows. Again, all is not lost...we can turn that fill-flash on for you.
We can lighten dark pictures...lighten a portion of the picture...bring colors back to life....whiten teeth...remove blemishes....
Essentially, tell us what you want fixed, and we'll tell you if we can do it.
These kinds of repairs fall into the minimal repair category and are the most cost effective since we don't have to fix scratches, add corners, repair whole sections, etc.
Since many people take digital photos today, just send us the digital file through email and save the scanning cost too. Of course we still accept physical prints for this type of work as well through the mail....or as part of our free pickup and delivery service in southwestern Connecticut.
The movie to the left includes an audio track by Michael Franco explaining what is done to your snapshots during a restoration. It is the same movie that is on the home page, so if you've seen that one, no need to click here.
