Slideshows are great ideas for family gatherings such as birthdays, holidays, graduations, retirements, anniversaries, engagements... almost any occasion you can think of.
You provide us with either the digital files or the physical photographs, and Photocadabra will compile them into a Slideshow delivered on a DVD to play on your television set.
Two options are available.
Option 1 includes titles and credits and any notations you want on individual slides.
Titles include the name of the event and a subtitle such as
JOAN'S 90th BIRTHDAY
Welcome to the party!
Credits will scroll bottom to top much the same as at the end of a movie and can include up to 6 credit items (plus "THE END" or similar closing comment) such as:
THE END-Created by
The whole family-
Scruffy the pup-
Option 2 uses a program to pan and zoom each photo creating the illusion of motion on every slide. Only titles are available with this option.
Generic music can be added at no charge. Client-provided music (on CD) can be converted into digital format and added to the slideshow for $25.00 per song. Please note that a slideshow of 50 to 75 pictures might need 3 -4 songs. Calculate slideshow length at approximately 5 seconds per picture to determine duration of music needed. If music extends beyond the end of the slideshow, it will fade out on the last slide (before the song ends).
Clicking on either icon above will download the movie and launch Microsoft Media Player on your computer.
NOTE: None of the photos in the above slideshows have been repaired in any way. This will keep the cost of the DVD projects to a minimum. Restoration of photos to be included in the slideshows are charged out individually at the prices indicated on the Price List page. Or....take a look at the movie below to get an idea of what restored photos would look like in the DVD slideshow. (If you've already seen the movie on the home page, this is the same one.)
Slide show photo gallery of "before" and "after" pictures with audio explanation track by Michael Franco.....
The movie above includes an audio commentary track by Michael Franco which explains the different types of repairs that can be accomplished on your photos. Please be patient during the download which can take up to a minute. After viewing the examples, you'll have a great idea of what it will take to restore your own photos.
Prices for the slideshows above vary depending upon a number of factors.
1) If Photocadabra will be scanning the pictures for you, you'll need to add the cost of scanning to the below prices (see our Scanning Services page).
2) A slideshow of up to 50 pictures (either option) costs $50 (including DVD).
3) A slideshow of 51 to 100 pictures costs $75 (including DVD)
